Revelation Access: Upon gaining access to this class, the Living Nocturne gains access to the following revelations: Supernatural Senses, Ghost Temper, Telekinesis, Ectokinesis. She can spend skill points on them in order to gain ranks in them, and she gains the ability to use Supernatural Senses untrained.

Improved Projection: The living nocturne gains the ability to project her spirit in a more masterful manner. She can remain projected for a number of hours equal to her WIS modifier.

Strength Drain: As their soul grows more powerful, the living nocturne’s muscles begin to deteriorate. She permanently loses 2 points of Strength, and gains a permanent -2 penalty on all Strength related skills while not projected.

Soul’s Glimmer: The light of the living nocturne’s soul becomes more intense. She gains a permanent +4 bonus to Charisma while projected, and she can choose to become visible while projected, allowing others to see her. Her projected form is vague and transparent, but it emits a soft light capable of illuminating a 10 foot by 10 foot area.

Faint Power: The living nocturne taps into the ghostly powers that lie within them, drawing on potential that previously had been restricted to them while alive. She gains a number of ranks equal to their living nocturne level in any revelation to which they have access that they select. These ranks are real ranks, but the rank number cannot exceed the maximum amount of ranks determined by their level. She can select one revelation to benefit from this ability at level two, then once again at levels four and eight.

Bonus Feat: The living nocturne gains a bonus feat from the following list: Educated, Persuasive, Further Awakening, Secret Plus, Frightful Presence, Iron Will, Lightning Reflexes, Dodge, Evasive, Pure Hearted

Secret Talent: The living nocturne continues to excel in their use of revelations. She may select a secret talent from any secret talent tree for which she qualifies.

Dexterity Drain: At fourth level, the living nocturne’s transformation becomes more severe. She permanently loses 2 points of Dexterity, and gain a -2 penalty to all Dexterity based skills when not projected.

Soul’s Focus: At fourth level, the living nocturne’s soul becomes more intense and cunning. She gains a permanent +4 bonus to Intelligence while projected, and adds her Intelligence modifier to its Initiative score when projected.

Limited Manifestation: At fifth level, the living nocturne gains the ability to become material while projected. While manifested, she is no longer incorporeal, and can act as though she were a regular, bodied human. In this state, she uses the ability scores and abilities of her projected form. She can remain manifested in this way for a number of minutes equal to her WIS modifier a day.

Constitution Drain: At seventh level, the condition of the living nocturne becomes even more debilitating. She permanently loses 2 points of Constitution, and no longer adds her Constitution to her hit dice while not projected or manifested.

Soul’s Resilience: At seventh level, the living nocturne’s soul is reinforced by their astral power. She can choose to expend a stamina charge to make a Will save in place of a Fortitude or Reflex save while projected, and she adds her WIS modifier to her hit dice while projected. Furthermore, she is treated as if she rolled the maximum value allowed for all hit dice she possesses while projected.

Soul’s Clarity: At seventh level, the living nocturne’s soul becomes even more potent. She gains a +4 bonus to her Wisdom.

Withering: At eighth level, the body of the living nocturne is compromised beyond repair. She gains all the aging penalties for the maximum age category available to their race, but does not gain any of the age bonuses to mental ability scores. Furthermore, her movement speed is reduced to half, and her maximum carrying capacity is reduced to one half.

Astral Halo: At eighth level, the living nocturne’s soul gains a corona of spiritual light while projected. While projected, she gains the ability to make a ranged touch attack as a standard action that deals 2d8 + her Charisma modifier force damage to a target on a successful hit. She can use this attack at will, and any number of times per day.

Dying Brilliance: At tenth level, the living nocturne can capture the magnificence of their own death in a single moment. As a full round action, the living nocturne can cause their body to focus all its remaining life force into their astral form. Doing so causes her body to begin accruing mortal wounds, while her astral form remains untouched. While this occurs, her astral form is treated as if it were 4 levels higher for the purpose of determining rank and ERL, treated as if she has maximum ranks in all revelations to which she has access, and gains a +4 enhancement bonus to all her ability scores. Furthermore, they can use revelations without expending stamina charges, instead causing their mortal body to take 1 point of lethal damage for each use of a revelation. Each round spent in this form also causes her mortal form to take 1 point of lethal damage. She can choose to end this state as a standard action that provokes attacks of opportunity. If use of this ability would cause the living nocturne’s mortal body to enter the dying condition, she loses the benefits of dying brilliance, but can still remain in her astral form for a number of minutes equal to her Wisdom modifier, or until her physical body fails her Fortitude save. If she is not revived by the end of that period, she truly dies and becomes an actual ghost. She can choose to convert her living nocturne levels into levels of another class at this point.
